The “Lyme Journey” is often traumatic, not just because of the illness, but also the fear, uncertainty, frustration, anger, and financial hardship that often comes with it. To support patients, we maintain a referral list of Lyme Literate practitioners across the state, as well as hold regional support groups as a free community service to help support and educate patients, families and friends.
DARE 2B Tick Aware:
A State-Wide, Community-Based Prevention Program
PA Lyme’s Dare 2B Tick Aware was funded by the Pennsylvania Department of Health to implement a state-wide, community-based Lyme & Tick-borne disease prevention program.
The program improves the use of prevention strategies, reduces tick bites, and improves early diagnosis. Program offerings include seminars and webinars, printed and digital materials, and public service announcements.
