Dare 2B Tick Aware
Prevention Program

Our state-wide, community-based Lyme & Tick-borne disease prevention program was initially funded by the PA DOH/CDC Preventive Health Block Grant.

The program goal is to improve public prevention response through community awareness & education, reduce tick bites, and improve early diagnosis. DARE uses the most current research available and establishes standard prevention messages across the state. The Dare 2B Tick Aware program includes seminars, printed materials, and public service announcements.

Presented by certified PA Lyme Resource Network Faculty, 30-minute to 1-hour long educational presentations.

Series of free educational brochures and prevention tools to help you protect against tick bites and tick-borne diseases.

Outdoor Warning Signs

We’re working hard to get these signs prominently posted in parks and athletic fields across Pennsylvania.
